Thank you for considering Avani for your holiday.
We have an ala carte snacks and drinks menu as well.
Note – Tuesday safari park is closed.
Safari bookings:
Please visit www.magicalmelghat.in and book your safari from the “Sunna gate” entry point, walkable from the Resort.
Should you need help with the same please mail or call us. Attached is a guide on booking the Safari.
Before booking:
We share a common border with the forest. Our campus is an extension of the protected area itself and an eco-sensitive zone. Tigers, Wild dogs, Sloth bears, Sambar, Spotted deer, Nilgais live close by.
— Loud music, trashing (organic, inorganic matter both) are not allowed.
— Liquor/Smoking consumption is only allowed in the permit room (dining deck area), and strictly not in the tents.
— Snacks are served in the dining area and deck and strictly not to be carried to the tents. Snacks attract bandicoots/rats.from the unlandscaped surroundings who in turn can attract other unpleasant animals.
— Due to the wild nature of the campus and its adjacent forest, its advisable to retire to the tent by 10 30 pm.
Recommended packing list:
Carry light color, light fabric, full sleeve cotton wears as it gets hot under the strong sun during the day.
Must carry sun hats, sunglasses, sun Screen for safari. Please carry a binocular especially if interested in birding.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
We understand that we can be faced with unforeseen and very challenging situations. In case of an epidemic or pandemic, like coronavirus, we will allow a one-time date change amendment without any charges, until six months from the date of the original booking. Any difference in tariff will be borne by the client.
This flexibility will be available to those bookings, where we have received 100% payments.
Please find the below refund conditions for the cancellations.
If booking cancelled one month before visit, 100% of refund is applicable.
If booking cancelled 15 days from visit, 50% of refund is applicable.
*If booking cancelled within 15 days of visit, No refunds are payable/applicable.

Clothing
At our location temperatures drop and increase dramatically, so please carry clothes
according to weather.
Suggested to west light green, khaki, beige.
Do not use strong perfumes and deodorants during safari and nature walk. It is advised to only wear shoes for nature walk.
During winter warm clothes, jackets and scarves are advised.
During summer light cotton clothes scarves, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen are advised.

We request u to carry valid photo identity as it is required at all times during entry in forest and safaris and during check in.
Dos and Don’ts
- Check in @ 1pm and check out @ 11 am.
- Check out after 12 Noon will attract ½ day Charges.
- Tent keys are handed after completing the check in Formalities at the front desk.
- A refundable deposit INR 5000/- needs to be paid while check in.
- Outside food and Liquor is strictly not allowed.
- Storing Food, Smoking or consumption of Liquor in the Tents is strictly not permitted.
- Smoking and consumption of Liquor only at designated places.
- Littering of any type strictly not permitted.
- We do have animal movement within the campus.
- PET Bottles are not allowed. We do serve RO water for free. If you still need to carry your own water, the empty pet bottles will need to
be taken back when you check out. - Playing music on boom boxes/speaker systems is prohibited as we are adjacent to forest and continuation of the forest.
- Flying Drones is prohibited as per forest department rules.
- Car Wash Not Allowed.
- Consumption of chewable tobacco, Paan, Karra, Drugs and other illegal items are strictly prohibited.
- Late Night Sittings are not Allowed.
- Coming out of tents after 10 pm is strictly not allowed, as we have movement of wild animals after 10:30 pm to till morning 4:30am.
- Special items like Mutton/Country Chicken/Eve Snacks are available on pre order only.
